A detachable wool liner provides comfortable warmth, even when damp, and it is easy to wash and dry. A neoprene cuff with Velcro comfortably encloses the wrist.
The 3-finger design allows more air to insulate the hand, and the fingers can warm each other. It also retains a degree of freedom of movement when griping poles or binding.
